3318 ORDINANCE NO. 3318
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
AMENDING CHAPTER 18, ARTICLE I, SEC. 18-20,
PARKING, STORAGE OR USE OF MAJOR RECREATIONAL
EQUIPMENT, SUBSECTION (a)(3), OF THE SANFORD CITY
CODE; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS AND
EFFECTIVE DATE.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF
SAN FORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Section 18-20(a)(3) of the Sanford City Code shall be deleted in
its entirety and replaced as follows:
Section 18-20. Parking, storage or use of major recreational equipment·
(a)(3) Upon request by the owner of the recreational vehicle and the owner
of the residential property, the city manager shall have the authority
to grant permission for a recreational vehicle parked on a residential
property to be occupied with appropriate conditions and stipulations·
Such permission shall be limited to a total duration of 21 days, either
consecutively or non-consecutively, per calendar year, per
recreational vehicle. In addition, such permission shall be limited to
a total duration of 21 days, either consecutively or non-consecutively,
per calendar year, per residential property. Such occupied
recreational vehicle shall comply with parking and storage provisions
as set forth in this section. Regarding such occupied recreational
vehicle only, the city manager shall have the authority to waive, with
appropriate stipulations and conditions, other requirements of this
section·
SECTION 2: SEVERABILITY If any section or portion of a section of this
ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitutional, it shaft not be held to impair
the validity, force or effect of any other section or part of this ordinance.
SECTION 3: CONFLICTS That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby revoked.
SECTION 4: EFFECTIVE DATE That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
