AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD~ FLORIDA,
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3312, AND ITS AMENDMENTS,
AND ADOPTING AN AMENDED CLASSIFICATION AND PAY
PLAN UPON PASSAGE AND ADOPTION; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS, AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, deems it necessary to
amend the Classification and Pay Plan to temporarily authorize the addition of one (1) "Mechanic
I" position to the Public Works Department to be effective until on or about April 7, 1997:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF
SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the preceding clauses are adopted as fully set forth herein.
SECTION 2: That the terms of Ordinance No. 3312 are hereby amended.
SECTION 3: That Ordinance No. 3312 be and the same is hereby amended to provide that
the Classification and Pay Plan attached hereto as Exhibit "A" is incorporated herein by reference
and is made part of this Ordinance as full3/and completely as though it was fully set forth herein.
SECTION 4: SEVERABILITY. That all ordinances orparts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby revoked.
SECTION 5: CONFLICT. If any section or portion of a section of this Ordinance proves
to be invalid, unlawful or tinconstitutional, it shall not be held to impair the validity, force or effect
of any other section or part of this Ordinance.
SECTION 6: EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
