WHEREAS, an applica~on has been filed ~ ~e Ci~ of Sanford co close, vacate and ~bandon a po~on or C~merdal S~eec I~n~ be~een Holly Avenue and Cedar Avenue ~nd between Fulton Street and W. First Street in ~he Ci~ of Sanford, Florida, rese~in~ an exclusive Ci~ of S~nford Public Se~ices Easemen[; and WHEREAS, a public hearin~ was held on December 8, 1997, for consideration and de~e~ina[ion as ~o whether or no[ ~e closing, vaca~in~ and abandonin~ of Commercial S~eet I~ng be~een Holly Avenue and Cedar Avenue and be~een Fulton S~eec and W. First Street; and WHEREAS, the Ci~ Commission has dete~ined ~at the closing, vacating and abandoning of that ce~in prope~ does not conflict with the Comprehensive Plan Ci~ of Sanford, Florida, and ~aC the public health, economy, com[o~, order, convenienc~ and welfare will be promoted by such closing, vacating and abandoning. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CI~ OF SANFORD, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: That a po~on of Commercial S~eet lying be~een Holly Avenue and Cedar Avenue and be~een Fulton S~eet and W.
