AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 3361 AND ITS AMENDMENTS TO PROVIDE FOR THE
"FIRE LIEUTENANT" POSITION E~LASSIFICATION TO BE DESIGNATED
AS NON-EXEMPT FOR FLSA PURPOSES. PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS, AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, deems it necessary
to provide for the aforementioned amendment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF
SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the preceding clauses are adopted as fully set forth herein.
SECTION 2: That the terms of Ordinance No. 3361 are hereby amend. ed.
SECTION 3: That Ordinance No. 3361 be and the same is hereby amended to
provide that the revisions to the Classification and Pay Plan attached hereto as Exhibit "A"
are incorporated herein by reference and are made part o:1: this Ordinance as fully and
completely as though it was fully set forth herein.
SECTION 4: SEVERABILITY. If any section or portion of a section of this Ordinance
proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to impair the validity,
force or effect of any other section or part of this Ordinance.
SECTION 5: CONFLICTS. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby revoked.
SECTION 6: EFFECTIVE DATE. That this ordinance shall become effective gpon
passage and adoption,
