~MiNIST~TION, ARTICLE XV, OF THE CITY CODE,
ENTITLED POLICE OFFICERS' RETIRE~NT SYST~,
SECTIONS 2-261 THROUGH 2-272, OF THE CODE OF
O~IN~CES OF THE CI~ OF S~FORD; PROVIDING
FOR S~ERABILITY, CONFLICTS, AND EFFECTIVE
DATE.
~EREAS, it iS the desire of the City Commission of the City
of Sanford to amend and restate Chapter 2, Administration, Article
XV, Police Officers' Retirement System, Sections 2-261 through 2-
272, of the Code of Ordinances; and
NOW, HEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF HE CITY OF
S~FO~, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Article XV, Police Officers' Retirement
System, Sections 2-261 through 2-272, inclusive, of the City of
Sanford, Code of Ordinances, be and the same is amended and
restated as set forth in the document designated POLICE OFFICERS'
RETIREMENT SYSTEM, attached hereto and made a part hereof.
SECTION 2: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby revoked;
SECTION 3: That this ordinance shall become effective
i~ediately upon its passage and adoption.
