3423 ORDINANCE NO. 3423
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 3381, AND ITS AMENDMENTS, TO PROVIDE FOP,
CONTINUED AUTHORIZATION FOR A TEMPOP, ARY "BUILDING
OFFICIAL" POSITION IN THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
DEPARTMENT EFFECTIVE FROM JULY 28, 1998 FOR A PERIOD NOT TO
EXCEED 6 MONTHS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS, AND
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, deems it necessary
to provide continued authorization for a temporary "Building Official" position in the
Community Development Department (not to exceed (6) months) effective July 28, 1998.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF
SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the City Commission adopts statements above as if fully set forth
herein.
SECTION 2: That the terms of Ordinance No. 3361 are hereby amended.
SECTION 3: If any section or portion of a section of this Ordinance proves to be
invalid, unlawful or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to impair the validity, force or effect
of any other section or part of this Ordinance.
SECTION 4: CONFLICTS. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby revoked.
SECTION 5: EFFECTIVE DATE. That this Ordinance shall become effective July
28, 1998.
