3454 ORDINANCE NO. 3454
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 3361 AND ITS AMENDMENTS TO PROVIDE FOR THE
AUTHORIZATION AND ADDITION OF ONE (1) SOLID WASTE
COORDINATOR POSITION IN THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT;
PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission ofthe City ofSanford, Florida, deems it necessary to
provide for the authorization and addition of one (i) solid waste coordinator position in the Public
Works Department,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF
SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the preceding clauses are adopted as fully set forth heroin.
SECTION 2: That the terms of Ordinance No. 3361 are hereby mended.
SECTION 3: That Ordinance No. 3361 be and the same is hereby amended to provide that
the revisions to the Classification and Pay Plan attached hereto as Exhibit "A" are incorporated herein
by reference and are made part of this Ordinance as fully and completely as though it was fully set
forth herein.
SECTION 4: If any section or portion of a section of this Ordinance proves to be invalid,
unlawful or unconstitutional it shall not be held to impair the validity, force or effect of any other
section or part of this Ordinance.
SECTION 5: That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same
are hereby revoked.
SECTION 6: That this Ordinance shall become effective upon passage and adoption.

exceed six (6) months.
*NOTE: (l) Temporary "Acting Police Chief" and Temporary "Acting Human
Resources Director positions are temporarily authorized in the Police
Department effective 12/28/98 for a period consistent with the length of
time in acting position.
