3460 ORDINANCE NO. 3460 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, TO ANNEX WITHIN THE CORPORATE AREA OF THE CITY OF rn SAN FORD, UPON ADOPTION OF SAID ORDINANCE, A PORTION OF THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY LYING BETWEEN z MARQUETTE AVENUE AND LAKE MARY BOULEVARD EXTENDED EASTERLY AND BETWEEN SIPES AVENUE AND c~ BRISSON AVENUE AND A PORTION OF THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY LYING BETWEEN MOORES STATION ROAD EXTENDED WESTERLY AND MARQUETTE AVENUE AND BETWEEN BEARDALL AVENUE AND SIPES AVENUE EXTENDED NORTHERLY; IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE VOLUNTARY ANNEXATION PROVISIONS OF SECTION 171.044~ FLORIDA STATUTES; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS AND WH EREAS, there has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Sanford, Florida, a pedtion containing the name of the property owner in the area described hereinafi:er requesting annexation to the corporate area of the City of Sanford, Florida, and requesting to be included therein; and WHEREAS, the Property Appraiser of Seminole County, Florida having certified that there is one property owner in the area to be annexed and that said property owner has si~ned the Petition for Annexation; and WHEREAS, it has been determined that the property described hereinafter is reasonably compact and cond~uous to the corporate areas of the City of Sanfurd, Florida, and it has further been determined ~ha~ the 3nnex3don of said prope~ will not resuk in the creation of any end3ve; WHEREAS, the Ci~ of Sanford, Florida, is in a position to provide municipal se~ices to the prope~ described herein, and that the CiW Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, deems it in ~e best interest of the CiW m accept said petition and to annex said properW. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: That ~e pmpe~ d~cribed below, situated in S~inole CounW, Florida, be and the same is hereby annexed m and made a pa~ of the CiW of Sanford, Florida, pursuant m the voluntary annexation provisions of Section 171.044, Florida Statutes: SEE EXHIBIT "A" ATTACHED HERETO. SECTION 2: That upon this Ordinance becoming effective, the property owner and any residents on the property described herein shall be entitled to all the rights and privileges and immunities as are from time to rime granted to residents and property owners of the City of Sanford, Florida, as further provided in Chapter 17'1, Florida Statutes, and shall further be subject to the responsibilities of residence or ownership as may from time to time be determined by the governing authority of the City of Sanford, Florida, and the provisions of said Chapter 171, Florida Statutes. SECTION 3: If any section or portion of a section of this Ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to impair the validity, force or effect of any other section or part of this Ordinance.
