SANFORD, UPON ADOPTION OF SAID ORDINANCE, A
AND SANFORD AVENUE~ IN ACCORDANCE WITH T~
VOLUNTARY ANNE~TION PROVISIONS OF SECTION
171.044, FLORIDA STATUTESJ PROVIDING FOR SEVE~BILITY,
CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, ~ere has been ~ed wkh the Ci~ Clerk of ~e CiW of Sanford, Florida, a petition
conginin~ the names of the prope~ owners in the ~re8 described herelna~er requesting ~nne~don
to ~e corporate 8re~ of the CiW of Sanford, Florida, ~nd requestin~ ~o be included therein~ ~nd
WHER~S, ~e ProperW Appraiser of Seminole Count, Florida having ce~ified that ~ere is
one prope~ owner in ~e are8 to be annexed and ~ said prope~ owner h~s si~ned the Petition for
Anne~donJ and
WHEREAS, it h~s been determined that ~e proper~ described hereina~er is reasonably
compa~ and cond~ous to ~e concrete areas of ~he CiW of Sanford, Florida~ and it has fu~her been
determined that the annexation of said prope~ will not resuk in ~he creation of any enclave; and
WHEREAS, the CiW of Sanford, Florida, is in a position ~o provide municipal seaices to [he
prope~ described herein, and that the Ci~ Commission of the Ci~ of Sanford, Florida, deems it in
~he best inEerest of the Ci~ to accept said petition and to annex said properW.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That ~e prope~ d~cribed below, sima~d in S~inole CounW, Florida, be and
the same is hereby annexed to and made a pa~ of the Ci~ of Sanford, Florida, pursuant to the
volunD~ annexation provisions of Section 171.044, Florida SDtutes:
Lou 89, 90, 91, 92, 93 and 94 (LESS ROAD RIGHT OF WAY)
F~NK L. WOODRUFFS SUBDIVISION LAND'S SOUTH
SANFORD, FLORIDA, according to the plat thereof as recorded in
Plat Book :~, page 44, Public Records of Seminole County, Florida.
SECTION 2: That upon this Ordinance becoming effective, the property owner and any
residents on the property described herein shall be entitled to all the rights and privileges and
immunities as are from time to time granted to residents and property owners of the City of Sanford,
Florida, as further provided in Chapter 1 71, Florida Statutes, and shall further be subject to the
responsibilities of residence or ownership as may from time to time be determined by the governing
authority of the City of Sanford, Florida, and the provisions of said Chapter 171, Florida Statutes.
SECTION 3: If any section or portion of a section of this Ordinance proves to be invalid,
unlawful or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to impair the validity, force or effect of any other
section or part of this Ordinance. m
