3477 ORDINANCE NO. 3477 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, CLOSING, VACATING, AND ABANDONING A PORTION OF WOODSON AVENUE BETWEEN LAKE MARY BOULEVARD m~Do-n EAST AND FAIRMONT DRIVE EXTENDED EASTERLY AND BETWEEN CHEROKEE CIRCLE EXTENDED NORTHERLY z AND HWY. 17-92; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, r- CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, an application has been filed with the City of Sanford to close, vaca~, and abandon a portion of Woodson Avenue between Lake Mary Boulevard East and Fairmont Drive extended easterly and between Cherokee Circle extended northerly and Hyw. 17-92 of Sanford, Florida; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on April 26, 1999, for consideration and determination as to whether or not the closing, vacating and abandoning of a portion of Woodson Avenue; and WHEREAS, the City Commission has determined that the closing, vacating and abandoning of tha{cartain property does not conflict with the Comprehensive Plan of the City of Sanford, Florida, and that the public health, economy, comfort, order, convenience, and welfare will be promoted by such closing, vacating and abandoning.
