3230 ORDINANCE NO. 3230
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
RESCINDING ORDINANCE NO. 3169 AND ITS
AMENDMENTS, AND ADOPTING A SALARY
CLASSIFICATION PLAN EFFECTIVE OCTOBER l, 1994;
PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS, AND
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida,
deems it necessary to adjust the wages of its employees.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF
SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 3169 of the City of Sanford,
be and the same is hereby rescinded.
SECTION 2: That certain Classification and Pay Plan dated
October 1, 1994, attached hereto and made part of this Ordinance as
fully and completely as though same were set forth in this section,
be and the same is hereby adopted.
SECTION 3: If any section or portion of a section Of this
Ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitutional, or to
be in conflict with other prevailing Civil Service or Personnel
Rules, it should not be held to impair the validity, force or
effect of any other section or part of a section of this Ordinance.
SECTION 4: That this Ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption, and the adjustment of
the wages of the employees of the City of Sanford, Florida, shall
be effective on October 1, 1994.
