3234 ORDINANCE NO. 3234
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3230, AND ITS
AMENDMENTS, AND ADOPTING AN AMENDED
CLASSIFICATION AND PAY PLAN EFFECTIVE
IMMEDIATELY TO DELETE THE TWO (2) "OUTREACH
WORKER" POSITIONS FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida,
deems it necessary to amend the Classification and Pay Plan to
abolish/delete two (2) "Outreach Worker" positions which were
subject to and concurrent with continued grant funding; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida,
determines that grant funding for those positions is no longer
available; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida,
is not able to fund those positions with interim, temporary general
funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF
SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the preceding clauses are adopted as if fully
set forth herein.
SECTION 2: That the terms of Ordinance No. 3230 are hereby
amended.
SECTION 3: That Ordinance No. 3230 be and the same is hereby
amended to provide that the amendments to the Classification and
Pay Plan attached hereto as Exhibit "A" are incorporated hereinby
referenced and are made a part of this Ordinance as fully and
completely as though they were fully set forth herein.
SECTION 4: SEVERABILITY. That all Ordinances or parts of
Ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby revoked.
SECTION 5: CONFLICTS. If any section or portion of a section
of this Ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or
unconstitutional, it shall not be held to impair the validity,
force or effect of any other section or part of this Ordinance.
SECTION 6: EFFECTIVE DATE. That this Ordinance shall become
effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
