AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
VACATED AND ABANDONED A PORTION OF JEWETT LANE
AMENDING SECTION 1 THEREOF TO CORRECT THE
LEGAL DESCRIPTION THEREIN; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Section 1 of Ordinance 3215 reads as follows:
SECTION 1: That portion of Jewett Lane lying between Rinehart
Road and Upsala Road, more particularly described as follows:
The road right-of-way lying adjacent to Lots 37 through
Lot 44 of M. M. Smith's Third Subdivision, according to
the Plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 1, Page 86 of
the Public Records of Seminole County, Florida,
reserving a 110' x 30' electric utility easement between
lots 39 and 42 more particularly described in the
easement recorded in O.R. Book 110 Page 209 of the Public
Records of Seminole County, Florida.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF
SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Section 1 be amended to read:
That portion of Jewett Lane lying between Rinehart Road and
Upsala Road, more particularly described as follows:
The road right-of-way lying adjacent to Lots 37 through

the Plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 1, Page 86 of

be and the same is hereby closed, vacated and abandoned.
SECTION 2: If any section or portion of a section of this
ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitutional, it
shall not be held to impair the validity, force or effect of any
other section or part of this ordinance.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby revoked.
SECTION 4: That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
