Mayor Woodruff called the meeting to order at 4:05 PM
Mayor Woodruff said Commissioner Mahany said she would be late to
tonight's meeting.
1. Update on Community Development by Andrew Thomas, Community and
Neighborhood Engagement Director.
Mr. Thomas presented a power point presentation, updating the
Commission on the Community Development Department. He told the Commission the
members of his staff. He provided a timeline of events as follows: In August 2010 the
City of Sanford became a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) jurisdiction; in
June 2014 the City entered into a 3 Year Agreement with Seminole County to manage the
program; in March 2016 the City brought Public Services back in house; in September
2017 the City of Sanford approved the extension of the Interlocal Agreement to terminate

program; in March 2016 the City brought Public Services back in house; in September
2017 the City of Sanford approved the extension of the Interlocal Agreement to terminate
