AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
CLOSING, VACATING, AND ABANDONING A PORTION OF A ~'~ '~'
CERTAIN NORTH-SOUTH ALLEY BETWEEN FRENCH AVENUE ~
AND ~UREL AVENUE AND BETWEEN W. 25TH STREET AND
BAYARD STREET ~ PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY,
CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, u application has been filed ~th the City of S~ord to 1
vacate and abandon a portion of that cer~n North-South ~ley between French
Avenue and Laurel Avenue and between W. 25th Steer and Bayard Streetl and
WHEREAS, a public he~ring was held on February 28, 1994, for consideration
and deterSnations to whether or not the closing, vacatin~ ud abandonrig of a
portion of that ~ley should be ~owed; and
WHEREAS, the City Com~ssion has deterSned that the closing, vatting and
abando~ng a portion of that cert~n property does not co~ct ~th the
Comprehensive Plan of the City of S~ord, Florida, and that the public health,
economy, cohort, order, conve~ence, and welfare ~ be promoted by such
closing, vacatin~ 8nd abandoning.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF
SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: A portion of that cert~n North-South alley between French
Avenue and Laurel Avenue and between W. 25th Street and Bayard Street, more
particularly described as follows:
Be~n at the Southwest corner of Lot 5, Block 8A, 2ND Section
Dreamwold, as recorded in Plat Book 4, Pa~e 30, Public Records of
Se~nole County, Florida, ~n thence N 00°00'00"W, ~ong the West Hne
of Lots 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 of s~d Block 8A, 2ND Section Dreamwold, a
distance of 290.00 feet to the South right-of-way line of ~st 25th
Street (S . R. 46A); thence N89°47'15"W, along s~d South right-of-way
Hne, a distance of 15.00 feet to a point on the East line of Lot 26, Block
8, Dreamwold, as recorded in Plat Book 3, Pages 90 and 91, Public
Records of Seminole County, Florida; thence S00°00'00"E, along the
East line of Lots 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25 and 26 of s~d
Block 8, Dreamwold a distance of 290.00 feet; thence S89°47'15"E a
distance of 15.00 feet to the Point of Be~n~ng.
ContOrts 0. 0999 acres or 4350 square feet more or less.

SECTION 2: If any section or portion of a section of tMs ordnance p~ves to
be inv~d, unla~ul or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to imp~r the validity,
force or effect of any other section or part of tMs ordinance.
SECTION 3: That all ordin~ees or parts of ordinances in co~Hct here~th
be and the same a~ he~by revoked.
SECTION 4: That this ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its
passage and adoption.
