3203 ORDINANCE NO. 3203 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLOEIDA~ TO ANNEX ~ WITHIN THE CORPORATE AREA OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, UPON ~ ADOPTION OF SAID ORDINANCE, A PORTION OF THAT CERTAIN o PROPERTY LYING BETWEEN OLD LAKE ~RY ROAD AND THE SCL ~ RAILROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY AND BETWEEN W. 25TH STREET AND ~ AIRPORT BOULEVARD, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE VOLUNTARY ~ ANNEXATION PROVISIONS OF SECTION 171.044, FLORIDA ~ STATUTES; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS AND ~ EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEELS, there has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of S~ord, Florida, a petition eont~ng the name of the p~perty owner in the area described hereinafter requesting annexation to the corporation area of the City of Sa~ord, Florida, and requesting to be included therein; and ~S, the Property Appraiser of Se~nole County, Florida having certified that there is one property owner in the a~a to be annexed and that said property owner has signed the Petition for Annexation; and ~ER~S, it has been deterSned that the property described herein~ter is reasonably compact and conti~ous to the corporate areas of the City of Sa~ord, Florida, and it has further been deter~ned that the annexation of s~d proper~y will not result in the creation of any enclave; and ~ER~S, the City of Sanford, Florida, is in a position to provide municipal services to the property described herein, and that the City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, deems it in the best interest of the City to accept s~d petition and to annex s~d property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SECTION 1: That the property described below, situated in Se~nole County, Florida, be and the same is hereby annexed to and made a part of the City of Sagord, Florida, pursuant to the voluntary annexation provisions of Section 171.044, Flo~da Statutes: SEC 02 TWP 208 RGE 30E, E 210 FT OF W 1546.2 FT OF S 210 FT OF N 235 FT SECTION 2: That upon tMs Ordinance becoming effective, the property owner and any resident on the property described herein shall be entitled to all the rights and privileges and immu~ties as are from time to time ~anted to ~sidents and property owners of the City of Sagord, Florida, as further provided in Chapter 171, Florida Statutes, and shall further be subject to the responsibilities of residence or ownePsMp as may from time to time be deterSned by the gover~ng authority of the City of Sanford, Florida, and the provisions of said Chapter 171, Florida Statutes. SECTION S: If any section or portion of a section of this Ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to impair the validity, force or effect of any other section or part of this Ordinance.
