PROPERTY LYING BETWEEN FERN DRIVE AND ROSE DRIVE AND BETWEEN PALM WAY AND SANFORD AVENUE, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE VOLUNTARY ANNEXATION PROVISIONS OF SECTION 171.044, FLORIDA STATUTES; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE. ~ WHER~S, there has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Sa~or~ Florida, a petition contai~ng the names of the property owners in the area desc~b~ hereinafter requesting annexation to the corporation area of the City of Sa~or~ Florida, and requesting to be included the~in; and ~ER~S, the Property Appraiser of Se~nole County, Florida having certified that there are two property owners in the area to be annexed and that s~d property owners have signed the Petition for Annexation; and ~ER~S, it has been deterSned that the property described hereinafter is reasonably compact and conti~ous to the corporate areas of the City of Sa~ord, Florida, and it has further been deterSned that the annexation of s~d property will not result in the creation of any enelave; and WHER~S, the City of Sanford, Florida, is in a position to provide municipal services to the property described herein, and that the City ComassiGn of the City of Sa~ord, Florida, deems it in the best interest of the City to accept s~d petition and to annex said property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: T~t the property described below, situated in Se~nole County, Florida, be and the same is hereby annexed to and made a part of the City of Sanford, Florida, pursuant to the voluntary annexation provisions of Section 171.044, Florida Statutes: Parcel Number: 12-20-30-503-0300-0160-0-5 E 95 FT OF LOTS 16 TO 18 & W 105 FT OF S 20 FT OF N 40 FT OF LOT 17 BLK 3 FLORA HEIGHTS PB 3 PG 19 Parcel Number: 12-20-30-503-0300-0~A-0-4 W 105 FT OF LOT 16 & W 105 FT OF N 20 FT OF LOT 17 BLK 3 FLORA HEIGHTS PB 3 PG 19 Parcel Number: 12-20-30-503-0300-0170-0-3 W 105 FT OF LOT 18 & W 105 FT OF S 20 FT OF LOT 17 BLK 3 FLORA HEIGHTS PB 3 PG 19 SECTION 2: That upon t~s Ordinance becoming effective, the property owner and any resident on the property described herein shall be entitled to all the rights and privileges and immunities as are from time to time ~anted to residents and property owners of the City of Sa~ord, Florida, as further provided in Chapter 171, Florida Statutes, and shall further be subject to the responsibilities of residence or ownership as may from time to time be determined by the governing authority of the City of Sanford, Florida, and the provisions of said Chapter 171, Florida Statutes. SECTION S: If any section or portion of a section of this Ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to impair the validity, force or effect of any other section or part of this Ordinance.
