AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, SEHINOLE C0.
CLOSING, VACATING, AND ABANDONING A PORTION OF
JEWETT LANE LYING BETWEEN RINEHART ROAD AND
UPSALA ROAD; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY,
CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, an app~cation has been filed with the City of Sagord to close,
vacate and abandon a portion of Jewett Lane l~ng between Rine~rt Road and Upsala
Road; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing ~11 be held on June 13, 1994, for consideration
and determinations to whether or not the closing, vacating and abando~ng that
portion of Jewerr Lane should be allowed; and
WHEREAS, the City Com~ssion has determined that the closing, vatting and
abando~ng that cert~n pro~erty does not con~ct ~th the Comprehensive Plan of
the City of Sanford, Florida, and that the pubic health, economy, cogoft, order,
eonve~ence, and webare will be promoted by such elos~g, vacating ~d
abando~ng.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF
SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: T~t portion of Jewett Lane lying between Rinehart Road ~d
Upsala Road, more particularly described as follows:
The ~d right-of-way lying adjacent to Lots 37 though Lot 44 of M. M.
S~th's T~rd Subdivision, according to the Plat thereof as recorded in
Plat Book 1, Page 86 of the PGb~c Records of Se~nole County, Flo~da,
reserving a 110' x 30' electric utility easement between lots 39 and 42
more particularly described in the easement recorded in O .R . Book 11~
Page 209 of the Public Records of Se~nole County, Florida.
SECTION 2: If any section or portion of a section of tMs ordinance proves to
be ~va~d, unla~ul or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to impMr the va~dity,
force or effect of any other section or pa~t of tMs ord~nce.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances o~ parts of ordinances in eo~et herewith
be and the same are hereby revoked.
SECTION 4: That tMs ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its
passage and adoption.
