SOUTHERLY, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE VOLUNTARY ANNEXATION ~ O ~
PROVISIONS OF SECTION 171.044, FLORIDA STATUTES; PROVIDING
FOE SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHER~S, the~e ~as been filed ~th the Cit~ Clerk of the Cit~ of Sa~o~d~
Florida, a petition contai~n~ the name of the property owne~ in the apes described
hePein~te~ Pequestin~ annexation to the corporation area of the Cit~ of Sa~ord,
Florida, and Pequestin~ to be included therein; and
WHER~S, the PPopePt~ Appr~ser of Seminole Count~, Florida havin~
oePt~ied that there is one propePt~ owne~ in the area to be annexed an~ ~hat s~d
prope~t~ owner has si~ned the Petition for Annexation; and
WHER~S~ it has been determined that the propePt~ described hereinSteP is
reasonabl~ compact and oonti~ous to the corporate areas of the Cit~ of Sa~oPd~
Florida, and it has further been detezmined that the annexation of said p~opePty ~11
not result in the creation of an~ enclave; and
~ER~S~ the Cit~ of Sa~ord~ Florida~ is in a position to p~ovide municipal
services to the p~operty described herein, and that the City Com~ssion of the City
of Sagord, Florida, deems it in the best interest of the City to accept s~d petition
and to annex said property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF
SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the property described below, situated in Seminole County,
Florida, be and the same is hereby annexed to and made a part of the City of
Sanfo~d, Florida, pursuant to the voluntary annexation p~ovisions of Section
171.044, Florida Statutes:

SECTION 2: That upon this Ordinance becoming effective, the property
owner and any resident on the property described herein shall be entitled to all the
rights and privileges and immu~ties as are from time to time ~anted to residents
and property owners of the City of Sagord, Florida, as further provided in Chapter
171, Florida Statutes, and shall further be subject to the responsibilities of
residence or ownership as may from time to time be determined by the governing
authority of the City of Sanford, Florida, and the provisions of said Chapter 17
Florida Statutes.
SECTION S: If any section or portion of a section of t~s Ordinance prov~
to be invalid, unla~ul or unconstitutional
force or effect of any other section or part of this Ordinance.
SECTION 4: That all Ordinances or parts of Ordi~nces in co~ct h~re~th
be and the same are hereby revoked.
SECTION 5: That this Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its
passage and adoption.
