3152 ORDINANCE NO. 3152
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, CLOSING,
VACATING, AND ABANDONING A PORTION OF THAT CERTAIN
TWENTY (20) FOOT WIDE EAST-WEST UTILITY EASEMENT LYING ON
THE NORTH SIDE OF THE PROPERTY AT 1702 RIDGEWOOD LANE;
PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the owners of that certain twenty (20) foot wide East-West utility5
easement lying between on the northerly side of the property at 1702 Ridgewoo~
Lane, applied to the City of Sanford, Florida, their application to have said propert~
closed, vacated and abandoned; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on April 12, 1993, for c ' ' n and
onszderatlo
determinations to whether or not the closing, vacating and abandoning of that
easement should be allowed; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has determined that the closing, vacating and
abandoning of that certain property does not conflict with the Comprehensive Plan
of the City of Sanford, Florida, and that the public health, economy, comfort,
order, convenience, and welfare will be promoted by such closing, vacating and
abandoning.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF
SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That portion of that certain twenty (20) foot wide East-West
utility easement lying on the northerly side of the property at 1702 Ridgewood Lane,
more particularly described as follows:
The south 6 feet of that certain 20 foot wide drainage and utility
easement located on the north side of Lot 2, Ridgewood Acres, Plat
Book 24, Page 64, Public Records of Seminole County, Florida,
be and the same is hereby closed, vacated and abandoned.
SECTION 2: If any section or portion of a section of this ordinance proves to
be invalid, unlawful or uneonstitutionai, it shall not be held to impair the validity,
force or effect of any other section or part of this ordinance.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
be and the same are hereby revoked.
SECTION 4: That this ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its
passage and adoption.

Florida, do hereby certify that a true and correct copy of the
foregoing Ordinance No. 3152, PASSED and ADOPTED by the City
Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, on the 10th day of

City of Sanford, Florida, on the llth day of May, 1993.
