3114 ORDINANCE NO. 3114
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 3075, AND ADOPTING AN AMENDED
CLASSIFICATION AND PAY PLAN EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY;
PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, deems
it necessary to amend its current Classification and Pay Plan to authorize
the reclassification of one "Equipment Operator II" position to the position
of "Field Supervisor" in the Solid Waste Division of Public Works.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: The City Commission adopts the statements above as if
fully set forth herein.
SECTION 2: That certain classifications and pay plan and
subsequent revised amendments incorporated herein by reference are made a
part of this ordinance as fully and completely as though same were set forth
in this section, be and the same hereby adopted. Subsequent
revisions/amendments to this aforementioned document defined as "lesser
included" may hereafter be approved and authorized by the City Manager.
SECTION 3: Severability. If any section or portion of a section
of this ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitutional, or to
be in conflict with other prevailing Civil Service or Personnel rules, it
shall not be held to impair the validity, force or effect of any other
section or part of a section of this ordinance.
SECTION 4: COnflicts. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby revoked.
SECTION 5: Codification. That this Ordinance shall be codified
and made a part of the City code of Ordinances.
SECTION 6: Eff~ive Date. Shall become effective imediately
upon its passage and adoption.
