AN ORDINANCE OF 'rnls CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, aMENDING
CHAPTER 16 OF '£~ SANFORD CITY CODE TO PROVIDE REVISIONS
TO SECTION 16-12, REVISED OCCUPATIONAL LICENSE FEES~
PROVIDING CODIFICATION, SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS AND
E~=ECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Sanford City Commission of the
City of Sanford, Florida, to amend chapter 16, Section 12 of the City code
amending Occupational License Fees contained therein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY '~'hus PEOPLE OF '£ius CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: Section 16-12, of the City of Sanford Code is hereby
amended to read as follows:
The amount of license tax levied and imposed upon every person that
shall engage in or manage any occupation, business or profession mentioned in
this section within the city is hereby fixed, graded and determined as to the
following occupations, businesses or professions and at the following
amounts: (Schedule of Fees is attached as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein
by reference).
SECTION 2: The Code of Ordinances of the City of Sanford, Florida,
be and the same is hereby amended in accordance with the terms, provisions,
and conditions of this Ordinance. Further, that the sections of this
Ordinance may be tenumbered or relettered to accomplish said amendment and
the word "Ordinance" may be changed to "section", "Article", Or any other
appropriate word.
SECTION 4: If any section or portion of a section of this
ordinance provides to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitutional, it shall not
be held to impair the validity, force or effect of any other section or part
of this ordinance.
SECTION 5: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
hereby be and the same are hereby revoked.
SECTION 6: That this ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and adoption.
