3041 ORDINANCE NO. 3041 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER i1, ARTICLE 1, SECTION 11-12 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, BY ADDING SECTION ll-12(G) OF THE SANFORD CITY CODE, TO ESTABLISH A MANDATORY RECYCLING FEE FOR ALL CUSTOMERS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS, AND EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA: That Chapter 11, Article 1, Section 11-12, of the Sanford City Code is hereby amended by adding subparagraph (g), said amendment providing for recycling fees to be charged as follows: For each "single family residence", each "church", each "lodge", each "nursery", each "family dwelling unit" or each "quarters" occupancy the fee to be paid to the City shall be a monthly recycling fee, of one dollar and seventy=six cents ($1.76). (Example: multi-family duplex dwelling; two (2) residential units x $1.76 = $3.52 fee). SECTION 3: If any section or portion of a section of this ordinance provides to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to impair the validity, force or effect of any other section or part of this ordinance. SECTION 4: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict hereby be and the same are hereby revoked.
