3009 ORDINANCE NO. 3009
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
RELATING TO RECREATIONAL RAMPS AMENDING ORDINANCE
NO. 2094 WHICH CREATED SECTION 18-35 OF THE
SANFORD CITY CODE TO PROVIDE FOR SUMMER HOURS OF
OPERATION OF RECREATIONAL RAMPS; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF
SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: Section 18-35(d)(3) is amended to read as
follows:
(3) Ramps are to be operated between the hours of
2: 00 p.m. through 8: 00 p .m., Monday through
Friday, and from 12:00 noon through 8:00 p.m. on
Saturdays and Sundays, during daylight savings
time. During standard time, the hours of use
shall not be later than 6:00 p.m. Provided,
however, between June 1 and August 31, ramps may
be operated between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and
8:00 p.m., Monday through Sunday.
SECTION 2: If any section or portion of a section of this
ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitutional it shall
not be held to impair the validity, force or effect of any other
section or part of this ordinance.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby revoked.
SECTION 4: That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
