2089 ORDINANCE NO. 2089
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
RESCINDING ORDINANCE NO. 444 WHICH CREATED
THE BOARD OF BOND TRUSTEES AND PRESCRIBED ITS
DUTIES AND POWERS; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on January 24, 1949, the City Commission
adopted Ordinance No. 444 established the duties and powers of
the Bond Trustees of the City of Sanford; and
WHEREAS, the bonds have been defeased, the duties of
the Bond Trustees have been fully performed and the City desires
to rescind Ordinance 444.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE
CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: Ordinance No. 444 is rescinded and the
Board of Bond Trustees created thereby is abolished.
· SECTION 2: If any section or portion of a section of
this ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitutional
it shallnot be held to impair the validity, force or effect of
any other section or part of this ordinance.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby revoked.
SECTION 4: That this ordinance shall become effective
inunediately upon its passage and adoption.
