AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1990 OF SAID CITY;
SAID ORDINANCE BEING A ZONING PLAN; SAID
AMENDMENT CHANGING THE ZONING OF A PORTION OF
THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY LYING BETWEEN WEST 27TH
STREET (FLORIDA AVENUE) AND DeSOTO DRIVE AND
BETWEEN ORLANDO DRIVE (U.S. 17-92) AND EL
CAPITAN DRIVE, 714 FLORIDA AVENUE, FROM RC-1
(RESTRICTED COMMERCIAL) DISTRICT TO GC-2
(GENERAL COMMERCIAL) DISTRICT; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Ordinance Nol 1990 of the City of
Sanford, Florida, passed and adopted December 27, 1988, said
ordinance being the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of
Sanford, Florida, regulating and restricting the location and use
of buildings, structures, land, and water from trade, industry,
residence or other purposes, be and the same is hereby amended as
follows:
LOTS 7 AND 8, BLOCK 22, DREAMWOLD, AS
RECORDED IN THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF SEMINOLE
COUNTY, FLORIDA IN PLAT BOOK 4, PAGE 99.
be and the same is hereby rezoned from RC-1 (Restricted
Commercial) District to GC-2 (General Commercial) District.
SECTION 2: If any section or portion of a section of
this ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitu-
tional, it shall not be held to impair the validity, force or
effect of any other section or part of this ordinance.
SECTION 3: That ~ll ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby revoked.
SECTION 4: That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
