The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in Special Joint
Meeting with the Sanford Airport Authority on Monday, August 23, 2010, at 4 PM, in the
City Commission Chambers, City Hall, 300 North Park Avenue, Sanford, Florida.

PUBLIC HEARING:
A) Sanford Airport Authority FY 2010 -2011 Budget: presentation by
Sanford Airport Authority President Larry Dale. [Commission Memo 10-
162]
A copy of the Sanford Airport Authority Proposed Annual Budget for
Fiscal Year 2010 -2011 was distributed and presented by Larry Dale, President and CEO,
• Sanford Airport Authority.
Vice Mayor Woodruff said that he would really like to see an entry feature
at the Airport Boulevard entrance to the airport, that it should recognize the naval air
station, and that it would be a good location for a directory. Mr. Dale said that it would
have to be funded as a non grant revenue capital project. He asked Mr. George to assign
Staff to work with his Board on a concept for consideration by his Board and the City
Commission.
Mr. Cattell moved to approve the Sanford Airport Authority Budget, as
presented. Seconded by Mr. Litton and carried by vote of the Board as follows:

Commissioner Jones moved to approve the Sanford Airport Authority
Budget, as presented. Seconded by Vice Mayor Woodruff and carried by vote of the
Commission as follows:
