AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
ENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1990 OF SAID CITY;
SAID ORDINANCE BEING A ZONING PLAN; SAID
AMENDMENT CHANGING THE ZONING OF A PORTION OF
THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY LYING BETWEEN U.S. 17-
92 (ST. RD. 15 & 600) AND PARKVIEW DRIVE AND
LYING SOUTH OF AND ABUTTING COLLINS DRIVE
FROM MR-2 (MULTIPLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL)
DISTRICT TO GC-2 (GENERAL COMMERCIAL)
DISTRICT; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, CON-
FLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 1990 of the City of
Sanford, Florida, passed and adopted December 27, 1988, said
ordinance being the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of
Sanford, Florida, regulating and restricting the location and use
of buildings, structures, land, and water from trade, industry,
residence or other purposes, be and the same is hereby amended as
follows:
Begin at the Northwest corner of Lot 1, Block
F, Sunland Estates, as recorded in Plat Book
11, page 20, Public Records of Seminole
County, Florida, thence run South 08° 36' 23"
West through the Southeast corner of said Lot
1, 265.54 feet; thence run West 94.76 feet;
thence run North 60° 57' 35" West 311.4 feet;
thence run North 38~ 27' 29" East 273.95 feet
to a point on the arc of a curve lying
concave Northeasterly having a radius of
499.3 feet, also being the Southerly right-
of-way line of Collins Drive; thence run
Southeasterly along the arc of said curve a
distance of 260.82 feet to the Point of
Beginning, being a part of Block G of said
Sunland Estates.
be and the same is hereby rezoned from MR-2 (Multiple Family
Residential) District to GC-2 (General Commercial) District.
SECTION 2: If any section or portion of a section of
this ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitu-
tional, it shall not be held to impair the validity, force or
effect of any other section or part of this ordinance.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby revoked.
SECTION 4: That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
