ORDINANCE NO. 2037
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
CLOSING, VACATING, AND ABANDONING A PORTION
OF CENTRAL PARK DRIVE LYING NORTH OF
COASTLINE ROAD; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY,
CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the owners of that certain real property of a
portion of Central Park Drive lying North of Coastline Road,
their application to have said property closed, vacated and
abandoned; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on June 12, 1989,
for consideration and determination as to whether or not the
closing, vacating and abandoning of that street should be
allowed; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has determined that the
closing, vacating and abandoning of that certain property does
not conflict with the Comprehensive Plan of the City of Sanford,
Florida, and that the public health, economy, comfort, order,
convenience, and welfare will be promoted by such closing,
vacating and abandoning.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY
OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
Section 1: That a portion of that Central Park Drive
lying North of Coastline Road, more particularly described as
follows:
A portion of CENTRAL PARK DRIVE adjacent to
Lot 7, SANFORD CENTRAL PARK, as Recorded in
Plat Book 33, Pages 64 thru 66, Public
Records of Seminole County, Florida, being
described as follows: Begin at the .
Easterlymost corner of said Lot 7, said
corner also being the Southeast corner of :~ .~
said Lot 7-A; thence run N. 89° 45' 02" E.:
along the Easterly extension of the North
line of Lot 7, a distance of 13.99 feet to a
point on a curve concave Westerly and having
a radius of 480.00 feet; thence from a
tangent bearing of .S. 05° 44' 46" W. run
Southerly along the arc of said curve 5.97
feet through a central angle of 00° 42' 44" to
235.76 feet to the point of curvature of a
curve concave Easterly and having a radius of
85.00 feet; thence run Southerly along the
arc of said curve 9.95 feet through a central
angle of 06° 42 ' 28" to a point on the
Easterly line of said Lot 7; thence run N. 00°
14' 58" W. along said Easterly line 145.00
feet to the point of curvature of a curve
concave Southeasterly and having a radius of
380.00 feet; thencr run Northerly along said
Easterly lot line and along the arc of said
curve 106.38 feet through a centr~ angle of

along the North line of said Lot 8, a
distance of 301.64 feet to the Point of
Beginning at the Northwest corner of said Lot
Southeasterly, having a radius of 320.00
feet, andtangentbearing of S. 28~ 43k'20"
W.; thence run Southerwesterly along the
Westerly line of said Lot 8, and along the
arc of said curve 19.51 feet through a
centr~ angle of 03~29' 33" to apoint of a
curve concave Westerly, having a radius of
540 00 feet and a tangent bearing of N. 01~
36' 20" E., thence leaving said Westerly line
run Northerly along the arc of said curve

SECTION 2: If any section or portion of a section of
this ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or
~constitutional, it shall not be held to impair the validity,
force or effect of any other section or part of this ordinance.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the see are hereby revoked.
SECTION 4: That this ordinance sh~l b~ome effective
immediately upon i~s passage and adoption.
