2048 ORDINANCE NO. 2048
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
CHANGING THE NAME OF WHIPPOORWILL LANE
PRESENTLY DEFINED WITHIN THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA TO WHIPPOORWILL COURT; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, there presently exists within the City of
Sanford, Florida a lane defined and named as Whippoorwill Lane;
and
WHEREAS, upon request of interested parties it is
deemed desirable to change the name of Whippoorwill Lane to
Whippoorwill Court;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY
OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Whippoorwill Lane as the same is
presently defined within the City of Sanford, Florida, will
henceforth be named and known as Whippoorwill Court.
SECTION 2: If any section or portion of a section of
this ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or
unconstitutional, it shall not be held to impair the validity,
force or effect of any other section or part of this ordinance.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby revoked.
SECTION 4: That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
