AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1990 OF SAID CITY;
SAID ORDINANCE BEING A ZONING PLAN; SAID
AMENDMENT CHANGING THE ZONING OF A PORTION OF
THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY LYING BETWEEN U.S. 17-
92 AND CHEROKEE CIRCLE AND BETWEEN LAKE MARY
BOULEVARD AND WOODSON AVENUE FROM AG
(AGRICULTURE) DISTRICT AND SR-1A (SINGLE
FAMILY DWELLING RESIDENTIAL TO GC-2 (GENERAL
COMMERCIAL) DISTRICT; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 1990 of the City of
Sanford, Florida, passed and adopted December 27, 1988, said
ordinance being the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of
Sanford, Florida, regulating and restricting the location and use
of buildings, structures, land, and water from trade, industry,
residence or other purposes, be and the same is hereby amended as
follows:
All of that portion not zoned GC-2 in: The
South 216.9 feet of the North 740.4 feet of
the NW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Section 14,
Township 20 South, Range 30 East, Seminole
County, Florida (being the Easterly half of
said parcel). Containing 2.28 acres, more or
less.
be and the same is hereby rezoned from AG (Agriculture) District
and SR-1A (Single Family Dwelling Residential) to GC-2 (General
COeneral Commercialt.
SECTION 2: If any section or portion of a section of
this ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitu-
tional, it shall not be held to impair the validity, force or
effect of any other section or part of this ordinance.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby revoked.
SECTION 4: That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
