AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1990 OF SAID CITY;
SAID ORDINANCE BEING A ZONING PLAN; SAID
AMENDMENT CHANGING THE ZONING OF A PORTION OF
THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY LYING BETWEEN SANFORD
AVENUE AND PALMETTO AVENUE AND BETWEEN 25TH
STREET AND 26TH STREET FROM MR-2, (MULTIPLE
FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) DISTRICT TO RC-1
(RESTRICTED COMMERCIAL) DISTRICT; PROVIDING
FOR SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE
DATE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 1990 of the City of
Sanford, Florida, passed and adopted December 27, 1988, said
ordinance being the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of
Sanford, Florida, regulating and restricting the location and use
of buildings, structures, land, and water from trade, industry,
residence or other purposes, be and the same is hereby amended as
follows:
The South 1/2 of Lot 46, and all of Lot 48,
50 and 52, FRANK L. WOODRUFFS Subdivision, as
Recorded in Plat Book 3, Page 44, of the
Public Records of Seminole County, Florida.
be and the same is hereby rezoned from MR-2 (Multiple Family
Residential) District to RC-1 (Restricted Commercial) District.
SECTION 2: If any section or portion of a section of
this ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitu-
tional, it shall not be held to impair the validity, force or
effect of any other section or part of this ordinance.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby revoked.
SECTION 4: That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
