AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
ENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1097 OF SAID CITY;
SAID ORDINANCE BEING A ZONING PLAN; SAID
AMENDMENT CHANGING THE ZONING OF A PORTION OF
THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY LYING BETWEEN HIGHWAY
17-92 (FRENCH AVENUE) AND CORDOVA DRIVE AND
BETWEEN COLONIAL WAY AND KATHERINE COURT FROM
SR-1 (SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DWELLING)
DISTRICT TO RC-1 (RESTRICTED COMMERCIAL)
DISTRICT; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, CON-
FLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 1097 of the City of
Sanford, Florida, passed and adopted December 11, 1972, said
ordinance being the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of
Sanford, Florida, regulating and restricting the location and use
of buildings, structures, land, and water from trade, industry,
residence or other purposes, be and the same is hereby amended as
follows:
Begin at a point 241.50 feet South and
113.00 feet East of the Southeast corner
of the Intersection of Highway 17-92
(French Avenue) and Colonial Way,
Highland Park, according to the Plat
thereof as recorded in Plat Book 4, Page
28, of the Public Records of Seminole
County, Fl'orida, thence run East 37.00
feet, thence run North 70.00 feet,
thence run S.27°51'31"W., 79.18 feet to
the Point of Beginning. Being a
triangular parcel, part of Lot B., Block
8, said Plat of Highland Park.
be and the same is hereby rezoned from SR-1 (Single Family
Residential Dwelling) District to RC-1 (Restricted Commercial)
District.
SECTION 2: If any section or portion of a section of
this ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitu-
tional, it shall not be held to impair the validity, force or
effect of any other section or part of this ordinance.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby revoked.

SECTION 4: That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
