AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FL0eIDA, CLOSING,
VACATING, A~] ABAM3ONING A PC~TION OF RIDGEW3DD AVENUE LY/NG
SOUTH OF WEST 25T~ STREET (CR 46A) A~) ABUTI'ING SEMINOLE
HIG~ SCHOOL; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABTT,TTY, CONFLICTS

WHEREAS, the owners of that certain real property a portion of
Avenue lying South of West 25th Street (CR 46A) and abutting Seminole
High School, applied to the City of Sanford, Florida, their application to have
said property closed, vacated and abandoned; and
~'~REAS, a public hearing was held c~ May 9, 1988, for consideration
and determination as to whether or not the closing, vacating and abandoning of
that easeneat should be allowed; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has determined that the closing, vacating
and abandoning of that certain property does not conflict with the Cc~prehensive
Plan of the City of Sanford, Florida, and that the public health, econc~y,
comfort, order, convenience, and welfare will be promoted by such closing,
vacating and abandoning.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENAL~I'm3 BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA:
Section 1: That a portion of Ridge%~3od Avenue lying South Of West
25th Street (CR 46A) and abutting Seminole ~igh School, more particularly
described as follows:
Begin at a point 2,374.99 feet South and 750.29 feat West of
the Northeast corner of Section 2, Township 20 South, Range
30 East, Seminole County, Florida; said point being North 45
degrees 15 minutes 26 seconds East 979.33 feet for a point
2,596.32 North and 1,445.91 feet West of the Southwest
corner of said Section 2; thenee run South 45 degrees 15
minutes 26 seconds West 519.06 feet; theace run North 44

degrees 44 minutes 34 seconds West 58.69 feet to the
Southerly most corner of that certain parcel of land as
described and recorded in Official Records Book 1853, Page
187, Public Records of Seminole County, Florida; theace run
North 45 degrees 08 minutes 32 seconds East 287.25 feet
along the Southeasterly boundary of said parcel of land to
the Southerly most corner of that certain parcel of land as
described and recorded in Official Records Book 1853, Page
184, Public Records of S~minole County, Florida; thence run
North 45 degrees 08 minutes 32 seconds East 99.20 feet to
the Easterly most corner of said perc~l of lend as described
and recorded in Official Records Book 1853, Page 184; said.
Easterly most corner also being a point on the aforesaid
Southeasterly boundary of that certain parcel of land as c~
