1924-A ORDINANCE NO. 1924-A AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1924 MICH CONTAI~D A SCRIVENER'S ERROR IN SECTION 1, SAID ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF A 14 FOOT EAST/~ST ~LEY LYING BETWEEN O~ AVENUE AND M~TLE AVENUE AND BET~EN FIRST STREET A~ SECO~ STREET; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS AND EFFECTI~ DATE MEREAS, Ordinance Nu~er 1924, closing, vacating and abandoning a portion of that certain 14 foot East/West alley lying between Oak Avenue and ~rtle Avenue and between First Street and Second Street was passed by the City Co~ission of the City of Sanford, Florida, on May 9, 1988; and MEREAS, a scrivener's error has been discovered in the original Ordinance No. 1924 and the City Co~ission desires .~to correct said error; SECTION 1: Section 1 of Ordinance No. 1924 be deleted in its entirety. SECTION 2: Section 1 of Ordinance No. 1924 is hereby added as follows: That that certain 14 foot East/West alley between Oak Avenue and ~rtle Avenue and between First Street and Second Street, more particularly described as follows: All of that portion of a 14 foot East/West alley lying South of and abutting Lot 4 and Lot 5, Block 3, Tier 5, E.R. TR~FORD'S Map of the Town of Sanford, Plat Book 1, Pages 56 through 64, Public Records of Seminole County, Florida; be and the same is hereby closed, vacated and abandoned. SECTION 3: If any section or portion of a section of this ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitu- tional, it shall not be held to impair the validity, force or effect of any other section or part of this ordinance. SECTION 4: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be and the s~e are hereby revoked· -I- Ordinance No. SECTION 5: That this ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
