1895 ORDINANCE NO. 1895
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA
CHANGING THE NAME OF PARK AVENUE BETWEEN
MATTIE STREET AND WYLLY AVENUE PRESENTLY
DEFINED WITHIN THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
TO PRINCETON AVENUE; PROVIDING FOR SEVERA-
BILITY, CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, there presently exists within the City of
Sanford, Florida, an avenue defined and named as Park Avenue, and
WHEREAS, upon request of interested parties it is
deemed desirable to change the name of Park Avenue, lying between
Mattie Street and Wylly Avenue to Princeton Avenue.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of
the City of Sanford, Florida:
Section 1. That Park Avenue lying between Mattie
Street and Wylly Avenue as the same is presently defined within
the City of Sanford, Florida, will henceforth be named and known
as Princeton Avenue.
SECTION 2: If any section or portion of a section of
this ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitu-
tional, it shall not be held to impair the validity, force or
effect of any other section or part of this ordinance.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby revoked.
SECTION 4: That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
