1849 ORDINANCE NO. 1849
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1097 OF SAID CITY;
SAID ORDINANCE BEING A ZONING PLAN; SAID
AMENDMENT CHANGING THE ZONING OF A PORTION OF
THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY LYING SOUTH OF AND
ABUTTING CELERY AVENUE AND LYING NORTH OF AND
ABUTTING SEABOARD COASTLINE RAILROAD RIGHT-
OF-WAY AND LYING EAST OF SUMMERLIN AVENUE
FROM AD (AGRICULTURAL) DISTRICT TO SR-1
(SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DWELLING)
DISTRICT; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY,
CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 1097 of the City of
Sanford, Florida, passed and adopted December 11, 1972, said
ordinance being the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of
Sanford, Florida, regulating and restricting the location and use
of buildings, structures, land, and water from trade, industry,
residence or other purposes, be and the same is hereby amended as
follows:
The East 1/2 of the West 1/2 of the Northeast
1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 (Less the South 25
feet thereof), Section 31,Township 19 South,
Range 31 East, Seminole County, Florida;
and
The West 1/2 of the East 1/2 of the Northeast
1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 (Less Railroad),
Section 31, Township 19 South, Range 31
East,Seminole County, Florida;
and
The West 1/2 of the West 1/2 of the Northeast
1/4 of the Northeast 1/4,Section 31, Township
19 South, Range 31 East (Less the south 25
feet and right of way for Celery Avenue),
Seminole County, Florida;
be and the same is hereby rezoned from AD (Agricultural) District
to SR-1 (Single-Family Residential Dwelling) District.
SECTION 2: If any section or portion of a section of
this ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitu-
tional, it shall not be held to impair the validity, force or
effect of any other section or part of this ordinance.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby revoked.
SECTION 4: That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.

by the City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, on

of the City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, on the
9th day of December, 1986.
