1842 ORDINANCE NO. 1842
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1097 OF SAID CITY; SAID
ORDINANCE BEING A ZONING PLAN; SAID AMENDMENT
CHANGING THE ZONING OF A PORTION OF THAT CERTAIN
PROPERTY LYING SOUTH OF AND ABUTTING WOODSON
AVENUE AND LYING BETWEEN U. S. HIGHWAY 17 & 92 AND
CHEROKEE CIRCLE FROM SR-1 (SINGLE-FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL DWELLING) DISTRICT TO GC-2 (GENERAL
COMMERCIAL) DISTRICT; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 1097 of the City of Sanford,
Florida, passed and adopted December 11, 1972, said ordinance being
the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of Sanford, Florida,
regulating and restricting the location and use of buildings,
structures, land, and water from trade, industry, residence or other
purposes, be and the same is hereby amended as follows:
Lot 2 (less Beginning at the Northwest corner,
run East 200 feet South 134.12 feet West 262.68
feet North 25o47' East 148.05 feet to Beginning)
Block A, SUNLAND ESTATES, according to the plat
thereof as recorded in Plat Book 11, Page 17,
Public Records of Seminole County, Florida;
be and the same is hereby rezoned from SR-1 (Single-Family Residential
Dwelling) District to GC-2 (General Commercial) District.
SECTION 2: If any section or portion of a section of this
ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitutional, it
shall not be held to impair the validity, force or effect of any other
section or part of this ordinance.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby revoked.
SECTION 4: That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
