1863 ORDINANCE NO. 1863
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1511 OF SAID CITY;
SAID ORDINANCE BEING THE COMPREHENSIVE
DEVELOPMENT PLAN; AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND
USE PLAN MAP OF ELEMENT ONE: FUTURE LAND USE
PLAN; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS
AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Sanford's Planning and Zoning
Commission, as the City's local planning agency, held a public
hearing on April 16, 1987, to consider amending the Future Land
Use Plan Map of Element One: Future Land Use Plan of the
Comprehensive Development Plan, Sanford, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission, as the City's governing
body, held two public hearings on April 27, 1987, and July
27th, 1987, to consider amending the Future Land Use Plan Map
of Element One: Future Land Use Plan of the Comprehensive
Development Plan, Sanford, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City of Sanford has complied with
requirements and procedures to amend adopted comprehensive plans
as set forth in Florida Statutes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY
OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That portion of Element One: Future Land
Use Plan referenced as Future Development Plan dated 1877-1986 be
amended to include proposed Future Land Use Map amendments
approved by the City Commission of the City of Sanford on this
date and be amended to read 1877-1987. A copy of the Future Land
Use Plan Map is attached hereto and by this reference
incorporated herein and hereby adopted pursuant to Florida
Statutes.
SECTION 2: If any section or portion of a section of
this ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitu-
tional, it shall not be held to impair the validity, force or
effect of any other section or part of this ordinance.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby revoked.
SECTION 4: That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
