ORDINANCE NO. 1807 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, CLOSING, VACATING, AND ABANDONING A PORTION OF ALBRIGHT ROAD LYING BETWEEN AIRPORT BOULEVARD AND BEVIER ROAD AND SOUTH OF '. SEABOARD COASTLINE RAILROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the owners of that certain real property abutting that portion of Albright Road lying between Airport Boulevard and Bevier Road and South of Seaboard Coastline Railroad Right-of-Way, applied to the City of Sanford, Florida, their application to have said property closed, vacated and abandoned; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on April 28, 1986, for consideration and determination as to whether or not the closing, vacating and abandoning of that certain portion should be allowed; and WHEREAS, the City Commission has determined that the closing, vacating and abandoning of that certain property does not conflict with the Comprehensive Plan of the City of Sanford, Florida, and that the public health, economy, comfort, order, convenience, and welfare will be promoted by such closing, vacating and abandoning. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA: Section 1: That a portion of Albright Road lying between Airport Boulevard and Bevier Road and South of Seaboard Coastline Railroad Right-of-Way, more particularly described as follows: The Northerly 15 feet of Albright Road adjacent to the property described as follows: Beginning at the Northeast corner of Lot A, 1st Section of A.F.G. INDUSTRIAL TRACT, according to the plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 5, Page 22 of the Public Records of Seminole County, Florida, run South 47-46-00 West, along the Southeasterly line of Lot A, 161.60 feet, thence run North 08-15-00 West, 417.72 feet to the Southerly right-of-way line of Seaboard Coastline Railroad, thence run North 81-45-00 East, along said right-of- 'It way line 619.68 feet to the Northeast corner of Block C, A.F.G. VEGETABLE TRACT, according to the plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 7, Page 14, Public Records of Seminole County, Florida, thence run South 47-46-00 West, 585.72 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING Being all of Block C, said A.F.G. VEGETABLE ..~. TRACT and part of Lot A, said A.F.G. INDUSTRIAL TRACT, and part of Lot 56, M. M. · ~I SMITH'S SUBDIVISION, according to the plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 1, Page 55, of the Public Records of Seminole County, Florida; be and the same is hereby closed, vacated and abandoned. SECTION 2: If any section or portion of a section of this ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitu- tional, it shall not be held to impair the validity, force or effect of any other section or part of this ordinance. SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby revoked. SECTION 4: That this ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 27th day of May , A.D. 1986.
