ORDINANCE NO. 1773
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
CLOSING, VACATING, AND ABANDONING A PORTION
OF A UTILITY EASEMENT LYING BETWEEN FRENCH
AVENUE AND HIAWATHA CIRCLE AND BETWEEN
ORLANDO DRIVE AND SANTA BARBARA DRIVE;
PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS AND
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the owners of that certain real property
abutting that portion of a utility easement lying between French
Avenue and Hiawatha Circle and between Orlando Drive and Santa
Barbara Drive, applied to the City of Sanford, Florida their
application to have said property closed, vacated and abandoned;
and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on August 12, 1985,
for consideration and determination as to whether or not the
closing, vacating and abandoning of that certain portion should
be allowed; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has determined that the
closing, vacating and abandoning of that certain property does
not conflict with the Comprehensive Plan of the City of Sanford,
Florida, and that the public health, economy, comfort, order,
convenience, and welfare will be promoted by such closing,
vacating and abandoning.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY
OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
Section 1: That a portion of a utility easement lying
between French Avenue and Hiawatha Circle and between Orlando
Drive and Santa Barbara Drive, more particularly described as
follows:
That portion of a utility easement abutting
Lots 1, 2, and the North 9 feet of Lot 2-A,
and lying between said lots, and the North 9
feet of Lot 15, all of Lots 16 through 20,
Block 15, DREAMWOLD, Plat Book 3, Pages 90
and 91, Public Records of Seminole County,
Florida;
be and the same is hereby closed, vacated and abandoned.

tional, it shall not be held to impair the validity, force or
effect of any other section or part of this ordinance.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby revoked.
SECTION 4: That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
