1760 ORDINANCE NO. 1760
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
AMENDING CHAPTER 2, ADMINISTRATION, ARTICLE
III, DEPARTMENTS OF PUBLIC WORKS: PUBLIC
STREETS, PARKS AND RECREATION OF THE SANFORD
CITY CODE, BY ADDING SECTION 2-36, DEPARTMENT
OF ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES AND SECTION 2-37,
DEPARTMENT OF ENGINEERING AND PLANNING;
PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS AND
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Chapter 2, Administration, Article
III, Departments of Public Works: Public Streets, Parks and
Recreation of the Sanford City Code be amended by adding Section
2-36, Department of Administrative Services and Section 2-37,
Department of Engineering and Planning. The Department of
Administrative Services shall incorporate Personnel, Data
Processing, Licensing, Purchasing, Internal Auditing and
Budgeting, and Risk Management. The Department of Engineering
and Planning shall incorporate Engineering, Planning and Building
and Zoning.
SECTION 2: If any section or portion of a section of
this ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitu-
tional, it shall not be held to impair the validity, force or
effect of any other section or part of this ordinance.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby revoked.
SECTION 4: That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
