AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 1097 OF SAID CITY; SAID ORDINANCE BEING
A ZONING PLAN; SAID E CHANGING THE ZONING OF A
~ORTION OF THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY LYING BETWF~ IAKE
MARY BOULEVARD AND LAKE MINNIE DRII~ AND WEST OF U. S.
HIGh~ArAY 17-92 (S. R. 15-600) FROM MR-1 (MULTIPLE-FAMILY
RESID~XFfIAL DWELLING) DISTRICT TO GC-2 (GENERAL~IAL)
DISTRICT; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS AND
F~'~'ECTIVE DATE.
BE IT EI~ACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Ordinace No. 1097 of the City of Sanford, Florida,
passed and adopted December 11, 1972, said ordinance being the Cc~prehensive
Zoning Ordinance of the City of Sanford, Florida, regulating and restricting
the location and use of buildings, structures, land, and water from trade,
industry, resideace or other purposes, be and the same is hereby amended as
follows: That the real property described as follows:
SEE EXHIBIT "A" ATTACHED HERETO A~D MADE A PART HEREOF,
be and the same is hereby rezoned fran MR-1 (MUltiple-Family Residential
Dwelling) District to GC-2 (General Cc~nercial) District.
SECTION 2: If any section or portion of a section of this Ordinance
proves to be invalid, unlawfD1 or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to
invalidate or inlaair the validity, force or effect of any other sections or
part of tb_is Ordinance,
SECTION 3: That ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith, be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4: That this Ordinance shall becctae effective imnediately
upon its passage and adoption.
