1729 ~, ., o ,-, ,-, ORDINANCE NO. 1729 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 11, ARTICLE 1, SECTION 11-12 (a) (b) (c) (d), OF THE SANFORD CITY CODE, SAID AMENDMENT INCREASING THE REFUSE RATE FOR EACH SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENCE, FOR ANY MULTIPLE- RESIDENTIAL USE, AND FDR EACH BUSINESS OCCUPANCY; ProVIDING FDR SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS, AND EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ENACl'ED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: That Chapter 11, Article 1, Section 11-12, sub- paragraphs (a), (b), (c), and (d) of the Sanford City Code is hereby amended as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto. Said amendment increasing the refuse rate for each single-family residence, for any multiple-residential use, and for each business occupancy. SECTION 2: If any section or ]XJrtion of a section of this Ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or irrpair the validity, force or effect of any other section or part of this ordinance. SECTION 3: That all ordinanoes or parts of ordinances in oonflict herewith, be and the same are hereby repealed. SECTION 4: That this ordinance shall become effective the 1st day of December, A. (b) For any multiple-residential use, including, but not limited to, duplexes, apartments, quarters or combination thereof, a ch.arge of six dollars and eighty cents ($6.80) per family dwelling unit, subject however, to a minimum of thirteen dollars and sixty-two cents ($13.62). "Quarters" occupancy is defined as several single-family rental buildings of one ownership on the same premises and services as to other utilities through a single utility meter or bill. No more than two (2) receptacles per family dwelling unit shall be allowed as provided by Section 11-12. (d) The monthly fees provided hereinabove shall cover the uniform refuse collection service provided for all usages similarly situated throughout the City of Sanford. EXHIBIT "A"
