AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1097 OF SAID CITY;
SAID ORDINANCE BEING A ZONING PLAN; SAID
AMENDMENT CHANGING THE ZONING OF A PORTION OF
THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY LYING BETWEEN AIRPORT
BOULEVARD AND SEABOARD COASTLINE RAILROAD
RIGHT-OF-WAY AND BETWEEN McCRACKEN ROAD AND
ACADEMY MANOR UNIT ONE FROM MR-1 (MULTIPLE-
FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DWELLING) DISTRICT TO RI-1
(RESTRICTED INDUSTRIAL) DISTRICT; PROVIDING
FOR SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS, AND EFFECTIVE
DATE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD~
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 1097 of the City of
Sanford, Florida, passed and adopted December 11, 1972, said
ordinance being the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of
Sanford, Florida, regulating and restricting the location and use
of buildings, structures, land, and water from trade, industry,
residence or other purposes, be and the same is hereby amended as
follows: That the real property described as follows:
Block 73 (Less Begin at the intersection of
the Southerly Right-of-Way of McCracken Road
and the Easterly Right-of-Way of Grapeville
Avenue, Run Northeasterly on Right-of-Way 200
feet, South 200 feet, Southwesterly 200 feet,
to a point 200 feet South of Beginning, North
200 feet to Beginning) AND that part of
Blocks 78 and 79 South of railroad, M. M.
Smith's Subdivision, Plat Book 1, Page 55,
Public Records of Seminole County, Florida.
be and the same is hereby rezoned from MR-1 (Multiple-Family
Residential Dwelling) District to RI-1 (Restricted Industrial)
District.
SECTION 2: If any section or portion of a section of
this Ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitu-
tional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the
validity, force or effect of any other section or part of this
ordinance.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith, be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4: That this Ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
