Only $867,058 applies through the substantial completion date based on 57 weeks. According to the numbers up to the substantial completion date, the weekly rate equals $15,212, and requested 3 weeks of GC's per our meeting would equal $45,636. Please let me know if there are any questions. Per our discussion, the WSI team has made their best effort to recoup time lost due to poor soils, freezing weather, rain delays, permitting issues and other field conditions not within the influence of WSI. Unfortunately the time has not been made up. As such, WSI will be incurring General Conditions (GC) costs beyond those projected in the GMP. WSI is also concerned about meeting the current Substantial Completion date of 9/22/10 due to recent permitting, design and site issues. In our conversation you mentioned a desire for 21 days of General Conditions reimbursement and extension of Substantial Completion to 10/15/10. We discussed City's schedule / expectation to be functional and providing services to the Public from the facility by 10/25/10. We also discussed and tentatively agreed a phased equipment and furnishings move in ahead of Substantial Completion (beginning end of September) was feasible and in the best interest of the project. Our original GMP contains $917,423 for General Conditions with a Notice to Proceed to occur July 27, 2009 and Substantial Completion to occur September 3, 2010. This calculates to 403 calendar days for construction phase. $917,423 divided by 403 days= ($2,276.48 per day GC). As such, 21 days of GC = $47,806.08. This is the amount you anticipate requesting for additional GC s based on project conditions as known 8/18/10. I trust this accurately summarizes our discussion regarding PSC schedule and GC s.
