1717 ORDINANCE NO. 1717
AN O~DINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLOKIDA,
MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA, FROM THE ANTICIP~I'~3 REVENUES TO BE
RECEIVED FROM THE ~ SHARING TRUST FUND
OF THE UN1Tm3 STATES OF AMERICA, DUPJNG THE
FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 1984, AND
ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1985; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY, CCNFLICTS, AND EE'FECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Manager has prepared and suhnitted a proposed
budget of anticipated revenues and suggested appropriations relative to
anticipated revenue to be received from the Revenue Sharing Trust Fund of the
United States of America during the fiscal year which begins October 1, 1984,
and ends September 30, 1985; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, is
of the opinion that the several items of recceraended expenditures for said
fiscal year are reasonable, necessary and proper for the administration of
the affairs of the City of Sanford; and
WHEREAS, the appropriate public hearings have been held for
consideration of the proposed budget.
NON, THInEFORE, BE IT ~qA~TED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the proposed budget of anticipated revenues and
appropriations to be received frcm the Revenue Sharing Trust Fund of the
United States of America during the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1984,
and ending September 30, 1985, be the same is hereby ratified, approved,
confirmed, accepted, and adopted; that a copy of the proposed budget is
attached hereto and heraby made a part of this Ordinance.
SECTION 2: If any section or pertion of a section of this
Ordinance proves to he invalid, mlawful or ~mconstitutional, it shall not he
held to invalidate or impair the validity, force or effect of any otb~r
section or part of this ordinance.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith, he and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4: That the effective date of this Ordinance shall be
October 1, 1984.
