1704 ORDINANCE NO. 1704 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, ENDING SECTION 16-12 OF THE SANFORD CITY CODE, SAID SECTION RELATING TO SCHEDULE OF OCCUPATIONS AND LICENSE TAXES BY ADDING OPEN AIR RESTAURANT CLASSIFICATION; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: That Section 16-12 of the Sanford City Code be and the same is hereby amended by adding the following classification: OPEN AIR RESTAURANT - Annual fee $52.50. Before a license can be issued all of the following conditions must be met: (i) Pass inspection by Seminole County Health Department. (2) Approval from City Commission. (3) Notarized permission from property owner where unit is to be located. (4) Occupational licensing inspection and inspection of overhead electrical hook-up. (5) Letter giving permission for employees and customers to use restroom facilities associated with property where unit is located. Restroom facilities should be available if unit is to set up at all. (6)Restrictions on signs associated with unit to allow only lettering on unit itself. SECTION 2: If any section or portion of a section of this ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force or effect of any other section or part of this ordinance. SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith, be and the same are hereby repealed.
