AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 1097 OF SAID CITY; SAID ORDINANCE BEING
A ZONING PLAN; SAID AMENDMENT CHANGING THE ZONING OF
A PORTION OF THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY BETWEEN McCHACKEN
ROAD EXTENDED EASTERLY AND WEST 13TH STREET AND BETWEEN
PERSIMMON AVENUE AND POMEGRANITE AVENUE FROM MI{-2
(MULTIPLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DWELLING) DISTRICT TO
RC-1 (RESTRICTED COMMERCIAL) DISTRICT; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION i: That Ordinance No. 1097 of the City of Sanford,
Florida, passed and adopted December Ii, 1972, said ordinance being the
Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of Sanford, Florida, regulating
and restricting the location and use of buildingS, structures, land, and
water from trade, industry, residence or other purposes, be and the same
is hereby amended as follows: That the real property described as follows:
Beginning 3.33 Chains North and 4.35 Chains
East of the South one-quarter Section Post;
run North 109.89 feet; East 3.33 chains;
South 109.89 feet; West 3.33 chains to
Beginning; AND begin 287.10 feet East and
109.87 feet North of the Southwest~corner of
the Southeast one-quarter; run East 220 feet;
North 109.87 feet; West 220 feet; South
109.87 feet to Beginning; AND begin 4.35
Chains East of the Southwest corner of the
Southeast one-quarter; run East 220 feet;
North 109.87 feet; West 220 feet; South
109.87 feet to Beginning; said parcel lying
in Section 26, Township 19 South, Range 30
East.
be and the same is hereby rezoned from MR-2 (Multiple-Family Residential
Dwelling) District to RC-1 (Restricted Commercial) District.
SECTION 2: If any section or portion of a section of this
ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not
be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force or effect of any other
section or part of this ordinance.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith, be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4: That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
