AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 1097 OE SAID CITY; SAID ORDINANCE BEING
A ZONING PLAN; SAID AMENDMENT CHANGING THE ZONING OF
A PORTION OF THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY LYING NORTHEASTERLY
OF A~D ABUTTING AIRPORT BOULEVARD (C.R. 425) AND BETWEEN
AIRPORT BOULEVARD (C.R. 425) AND U.S. HIGHWAY 17-92
(S.R. 15-600) FROM MR-2 (MULTIPLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL
DWELLING) DISTRICT TO GC-2 (GENERAL COMMERCIAL) DISTRICT;
PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE,
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Ordinance No, 1097 of the City of Sanford,
Florida, passed and adopted December 11, 1972, said ordinance being the
Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of Sanford, Florida, regulating
and restricting thelocati~n and use of buildings, structures, land, and
water from trade, industry, residence or other purposes, be and the same
is her~y amended as follows: That the real property described as follows:
Section 2, Township 20 South, Range 30 East,
South 265 feet of Southeast one-quarter lying
Easterly of C. R. 425, Public Records of
Seminole County, Florida.
be and the same is berry rezoned from MR-2 (Multiple-Family Residential
Dwelling) District to GC-2 (General Commercial) District.
SECTION 2: If any section or portion of a section of this
ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall
not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force or effect of any
other section or part of this ordinance.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith, be and the same are her~y repealed.
SECTION 4: That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
